This cake was for an Alice in Wonderland tea party, that was at one of those fancy little places you go to sit and have tea. I really love the little door and the doorknob, it's my favorite part of this cake!

Alice in Wonderland
This cake was a lot of fun to make, especially since the mom wanted me to use lots of colors and gave me all of the creative freedom I could use. I love customers who do that!! :)
Lucas Airlines
This little guy is the son of one of my oldest friends. Not oldest, like she's old, but I've known her longer than I've known any other of my friends. It's so awesome to keep in touch with someone who has known you since you were two years old. It's even more awesome to see their mom, who remembers you in preschool and stuff. And it's equally as awesome to make a bday cake for their kid/grandkid. Love the simple graphic design of this plane cake, it's so cute!
Angry Birds
Another Angry Birds cake! This game never gets old, I swear!! The birds, blocks and piggies are all made out of rice krispie treats. Now the song is stuck in my head.
80s Party!!
This boombox cake was made for an 80s themed birthday party. It really brought back memories while making it, I totally remember asking Santa for a boom box (ghetto blaster is what we called them) and playing pac man on my uncle's atari system. I totally remember how stuff had that geometric lettering, which is what I used for the birthday message. And the cake couldn't be complete without a mix tape!!
ode to the 60s!!
I made this cake for a couple who have their birthdays close together, and who met in the 60s and fell in love. So sweet! Hand painted tie dye was really fun to do. And the daisies remind me of the daisy chains worn on heads back in the 60s (of what I've seen in pictures and on tv)
007
This cake was for a fan of James Bond, who also turned 50. The gun was made of rice krispie treats and the design was hand cut fondant. It was a lot of fun to make, I love this design!
